Summer Sings

Choralis invites the public to Summer Sings in Falls Church, a summer series of sing-alongs on Tuesday evenings at The Falls Church Episcopal.  All sings start at 7 p.m. at Falls Church Episcopal, 115 E. Fairfax Street. Sunday, July 20, will feature Brahm's Ein Deutsches Requiem. Professional soloists will perform with keyboard accompaniment.  Attendees can bring their own score or rent one for $5 at the door. Admission is $15.  For more information, visit or call 703.237.2499

 Dinners for Eight

Our next set of Dinners for Eight will be Saturday, July 19. One of our dinners will be especially for families with children held at a community pool. The numbers at that dinner will be limited so first come, first serve. There is plenty of space at other dinners for adults so be sure to sign up. It is a great way to connect with fellow parishioners. You may sign up by emailing Nancy Councilor or look for the sign-up sheet at the Welcome Table outside of the Fellowship Hall.

Shrine Mont 2014

TCFE's annual Shrine Mont retreat will take place on Columbus Day weekend: Friday, October 10 - Sunday, October 12, 2014. Do you have time, talent or great ideas that you could share to make this year's retreat a success? We are seeking volunteers to assist with planning various aspects of Shrine Mont weekend, including registration, music, hospitality, activities and small groups. Please email Cindy Jensen if you could help.

School Supplies Drive for Shelter House

With the school year now behind us, Shelter House is preparing to provide school supplies for their children this fall. Please join us in donating school supplies to help these children start the school year prepared by donating Clorox wipes, tissues (large boxes), hand sanitizer, gallon-size Ziploc bags, quart-size Ziploc bags, multiple colors of pocket folders, and multi-subject notebooks (college ruled).   Donations will be accepted throughout July. Donation boxes will be located in the Historic Church. Want to help, but don't have time to shop? Contact us and we'll do the shopping for you! For questions or monetary donations, please contact Robin Fetsch, Nancy Councilor or Shayna Hadley.
